TheLionBook New ID: A Walk Through the Indian Panel Card Room

TheLionBook is the kind of name that gets typed into a search bar at eleven at night by someone who has heard from a friend that “the book has 32 Cards and Worli”. Book-style names like this one circulate on WhatsApp all the time, and the person searching usually wants the games more than the brand. So this page skips the sales talk and does something more useful: it walks through the quick card games found in the casino tab of most rupee panels, including ours, and says plainly which of them are games and which are lotteries dressed in playing cards.

What Makes These Tables Different

International live casinos are built around baccarat, roulette and blackjack. Indian panels carry those too, but the busiest corner is a set of studio games made for this market, streamed from a small table with a dealer, a shoe and a timer. Two features set them apart. Rounds are short, often 30 to 45 seconds. And many of them are priced exchange-style, with a back price and sometimes a lay price on each outcome, in the same decimal odds a cricket bettor already reads. That familiarity is the appeal. It is also the risk, because a 2.12 on a card game is not a market opinion the way a 2.12 on a cricket team is. It is a fixed payout with the margin already taken out.

32 Cards: Four Seats With a Head Start

The deck is stripped to the 32 cards from six up to king. There are four positions, labelled Player 8, Player 9, Player 10 and Player 11, and the label is a head start: Player 8 begins on 8 points, Player 11 on 11. Each position is dealt one card, its value is added to the starting number, and the highest total wins. If the top totals are level, those positions draw again.

Because Player 11 begins three points ahead of Player 8, it wins far more often, and the prices reflect that. You will typically see Player 8 offered somewhere around 12, Player 9 around 5 to 6, Player 10 around 3 and Player 11 close to 2. The exact figures differ by studio. The margin is not spread evenly. As a rule of thumb the shortest price carries the smallest edge, in the low single digits, and the long shot on Player 8 carries the largest. Side bets on odd or even totals, or on a specific card, are priced more harshly still.

Poker 20-20 and the One-Day Version

Two hands, Player A and Player B, are dealt two hole cards each, followed by five community cards as in Texas Hold’em. You are not playing either hand. You are betting on which one wins, and on side markets for the winning hand type: pair, two pair, flush, full house and so on. In the 20-20 version everything is dealt in one go. In the slower “one-day” version, betting reopens after the hole cards and again after the flop, with prices that shift as the hands develop.

The main A-or-B bet is close to a coin flip before the cards and is usually priced near 1.95 to 1.98 a side, an edge of 1 to 2.5 percent. That makes it one of the cheaper bets in the room. The hand-type side bets are another story, with margins that can run into double figures. Calling it poker is generous, since nobody bluffs or folds. It is a two-runner race with poker rules deciding the finish. Real poker is covered on our poker page.

Worli Matka: A Number Draw Wearing Card Clothes

Worli takes its name from the old Mumbai matka trade. Three cards are drawn, their values are added (ace as one, ten as zero, picture cards removed or counted as zero depending on the version) and the last digit of the total is the result. You bet on a single digit from 0 to 9, or on lines, odd-even and similar groupings.

A single digit is a one-in-ten shot. The usual payout is about 9 for 1, sometimes 9.5. Work it through with Rs 100 on a digit every round for 100 rounds: Rs 10,000 staked, ten wins expected, Rs 9,000 returned at 9 for 1. That is a 10 percent edge, and about 5 percent at the better payout. There is no decision that changes the outcome. This is a lottery with a very fast draw, and at 80 or more draws an hour it is the most expensive seat in the room. The history behind the name is on the cricket satta ID page.

Bollywood Casino and Amar Akbar Anthony

These are single-card draws with film-themed labels. In Amar Akbar Anthony one card is dealt: ace to six is Amar, seven to ten is Akbar, jack to king is Anthony. The true chances are 6 in 13, 4 in 13 and 3 in 13, which makes fair prices about 2.17, 3.25 and 4.33. Panels commonly show something like 2.12, 3.15 and 4.15. Multiply each price by its probability and the returns come to roughly 97.8, 96.9 and 95.8 percent. So the edge runs from about 2 percent on Amar to about 4 percent on Anthony. Bollywood Casino works the same way with six characters mapped to different ranks and suits, and the long-priced characters again carry the fatter margin.

The pattern across the whole room is consistent: favourites are priced tighter than long shots. It is the same favourite-longshot tilt found in racing, only here it is written into the paytable.

Rounds per Hour: The Number Nobody Quotes

Take a player who bets Rs 200 a round.

  • Poker 20-20 main bet, 70 rounds an hour at 2 percent: about Rs 280 an hour expected cost.
  • Amar Akbar Anthony on Amar, 90 rounds at 2.2 percent: about Rs 400.
  • 32 Cards on Player 8, 80 rounds at perhaps 8 percent: about Rs 1,280.
  • Worli single digit, 80 rounds at 10 percent: Rs 1,600.

Same stake, same hour, nearly six times the cost between the top of the list and the bottom. That is the entire case for knowing what you are sitting at.

Games, Lotteries and Where to Draw the Line

None of these involve skill in the play. The only skill available is selection: choosing the low-margin main bets, ignoring the side bets and keeping the pace down. If you want a card game with actual decisions, Teen Patti against other players has them. If you like the one-card format, Dragon Tiger and Andar Bahar are the better-known cousins, and the Casino War and Hi-Lo page compares their overseas relatives. A GameWinExch rupee ID, set up over WhatsApp and funded by UPI, opens this card room alongside the sports markets under one login.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is TheLionBook a GameWinExch product?

No. It is a name people search for. We can speak only for our own panel and our own rupee ID.

Which panel card game has the lowest margin?

Usually the main A-or-B bet in Poker 20-20, followed by the shortest price in Amar Akbar Anthony.

Can I lay outcomes in these games?

Some tables show lay prices. The gap between back and lay is the margin, so laying does not escape it.

Is there any system for Worli?

No. Each draw is independent and the payout is below the true odds. No staking pattern changes that.

Are the results fair?

The games are dealt from physical cards on a live stream. Fair dealing and a house margin exist side by side.

A forty-second round leaves no time to reconsider, so do the considering beforehand: pick the stake, pick the stopping point, and keep this room for adults aged 18 or older who can afford the entertainment.
