VOdds New ID: Partial Fills and the Price You Really Get
Searches for a VOdds new ID tend to come from bettors who have outgrown a single bookmaker. VOdds is a betting brokerage platform that gives one account access to several Asian bookmakers and exchanges, and the appeal is obvious to anyone who has had a stake cut in half at the confirmation screen. Before going further: GameWinExch is not affiliated with VOdds and cannot open a VOdds account on your behalf. We issue our own rupee ID, arranged over WhatsApp and funded by UPI, and it works on our panel alone. What this page can do is explain the one idea that every multi-book bettor has to learn sooner or later, which is that a large bet rarely goes on at one price.
The Screen Price Belongs to the First Slice
An odds screen shows the best price available right now. It does not show how much money that price will accept. Every bookmaker attaches a limit to each quote, and the limit on a Tuesday-afternoon league match can be surprisingly small. When your stake is below the limit you never notice. When it is above, the first slice of your money goes on at the advertised price and the remainder has to find a home somewhere else, at the next best number.
That is the daily business of a brokerage screen. It looks across several books, takes the top price until that book is full, then moves down the list. The bettor sees one confirmation. Underneath it sit three or four separate tickets, each at its own odds. The figure that matters is the average of them all, weighted by the money at each level.
Three Lakh on One Team, Worked Through
Suppose a bettor wants ₹3,00,000 on a football side showing 1.95. The books line up like this:
- Book one offers 1.95 and accepts ₹1,20,000.
- Book two offers 1.93 and accepts ₹1,00,000.
- Book three offers 1.90 and takes the last ₹80,000.
Multiply each slice by its price: 2,34,000 plus 1,93,000 plus 1,52,000 gives a total return of ₹5,79,000 if the team wins. Divide by the ₹3,00,000 staked and the weighted-average odds come to 1.93. The bettor thought they were betting at 1.95. At that price the profit would have been ₹2,85,000. The real profit is ₹2,79,000, so the cost of size on this one bet is ₹6,000.
Put another way, a 1.95 price needs the team to win 51.3 percent of the time to break even. At 1.93 the bar is 51.8 percent. Half a percentage point sounds like nothing. For a bettor whose whole edge is two points, a quarter of it has just gone.
Why the Second Slice Is Often Worse Than It Looked
The example above assumes the other books stand still while the first ticket is placed. They frequently do not. Asian bookmakers watch each other closely, and a chunky bet landing at one of them is a signal to the rest. By the time slice two is sent, 1.93 may already be 1.91. Anyone who has tried to do this by hand, with three browser tabs and a calculator, knows the feeling of chasing a number that keeps walking away.
Two habits limit the damage. The first is to decide a floor price in advance, below which the rest of the stake simply does not go on. Betting two lakh at an average of 1.94 is usually better than forcing three lakh at 1.91. The second is timing. Limits grow as kick-off approaches because books are more confident in their numbers, so the same stake causes less slippage an hour before the match than it does two days out.
The Same Thing on an Exchange
Exchange users meet partial fills in a more visible form, because the ladder shows the money waiting at each price. Say you want to back a cricket side for ₹50,000 and the best back price is 1.98. The ladder reads ₹18,000 available at 1.98, ₹22,000 at 1.97 and ₹10,000 at 1.96. Take everything on offer and your bet is matched in three pieces, for a combined return of ₹98,580 and an average price of just over 1.97.
The alternative is patience. You can ask for the whole ₹50,000 at 1.98, accept that ₹18,000 is matched at once, and leave ₹32,000 sitting as an unmatched order in the hope that someone lays it. Sometimes they do. Sometimes a wicket falls, the price shoots out to 2.30 and you are left with a third of the position you wanted. Neither route is wrong. What matters is knowing which one you have chosen. Our guide to cricket betting exchanges covers matched and unmatched bets in more detail, and the page on tick sizes and the odds ladder explains why prices move in steps.
Does Any of This Matter at Small Stakes?
For a ₹500 bet, no. The first slice swallows it whole. It starts to matter on thin markets, and those are easier to stumble into than people expect: a domestic T20 match in the afternoon, a second-tier tennis event, a fancy market late in an innings. There, even ₹10,000 can take out the best price and part of the next.
A simple check is to look at your bet history rather than your memory. Note the price you clicked and the price the ticket records. If the two differ often, you are bigger than the market you are betting in, and the fix is either a smaller stake or a busier market. People who want to understand how professional money deals with the same problem can read our piece on professional betting groups, and the Sportmarket page shows which sports carry enough betting volume to absorb large stakes in the first place.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can GameWinExch set up a VOdds account for me?
No. We have no link with VOdds. We provide our own rupee ID for our own panel through WhatsApp.
What is a partial fill?
It is a bet where only part of the stake is accepted at the requested price. The rest is either placed at a lower price or left unmatched.
How do I calculate average odds?
Multiply each slice of stake by its odds, add the results, and divide by the total stake.
Do limits change during the week?
Yes. Limits are generally lowest when a market opens and highest close to the start, when prices are most settled.
Should I take a worse price to get my full stake on?
Only down to a floor you set beforehand. Below that, a smaller bet at a fair price is the better choice.
Bigger stakes magnify mistakes as well as prices. Bet only if you are 18 or older, fix the amount before you open the market, and never raise it to make up for an earlier loss.
